About your PhotoWalks guide

Once upon a time, I worked as a travel agent. I chose a career that satisfied my passionate interests in photography and travel. I had a fabulous time traveling around the world and taking pictures of people and cultures. A few years ago, I left my globetrotting days behind and decided to finally pursue my lifelong dream of becoming an entrepreneur.

One day, as I was walking through the Boston Common and photographing the city scenes around me, inspiration struck! What if I combine my photography knowledge with walking tours of Boston and create a photo tour company? My idea became a reality when PhotoWalks was launched on May 1, 2002 with only two tours. Today, four tours are offered.

I am pleased to announce that I have written a book called Boston in Photographs, published by Random House.PhotoWalks has received extensive media coverage as Boston's first and only photo tour company and is a member of the Greater Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau.

As a photographer with an eye for details, creative compositions and a passion for teaching, I have over 10 years of experience photographing exotic travel destinations, weddings, children and portraits. I want to share my knowledge and give you ideas on how to apply simple and creative photography techniques that will significantly impact the way you take pictures. Learn how to capture artistic photographs, not random snapshots!

Hope to see you on tour! Saba Alhadi, founder PhotoWalks
