Travel north from Boston to historic Marblehead, the birthplace of the American Navy. Visit Abbott Hall to hear a short lecture and view the original painting, "The Spirit of 76." Once in Salem, you will have time to explore on your own the many attractions and museums in the area - as time allows.

ABOUT SALEM:

Salem is home to the oldest National Historic Site in America, Salem Maritime National Historic Site. Salem Massachusetts was one of the most important ports in the nation prior to the War of 1812, when ships were still small enough to fit into the rather small inner harbor. Downtown are historic buildings, wharves, and the customs house where Nathaniel Hawthorne penned The Scarlet Letter. Other historical attractions include Hawthorne's birthplace, the House of the Seven Gables and a reconstructed late 18th-century warehouse from neighboring Marblehead.

Departure Location:

• Tours depart from Gray Line Ticket Office Located at No.16 South Charles Street Boston, MA 02116. Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to tour time.

Complimentary Hotel Pick Up:

• Complimentary Hotel Pickup and return is provided from selected Metro Boston and Suburban hotels. It is the responsibility of the guest to arrange hotel pick up once in Boston. Guests requesting hotel pick up must call the local number provided on their confirmation voucher and provide agent with hotel information. If you do not call to schedule a hotel pick - please meet at the departure location.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation and No Show Policy:

Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 48 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.

Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.
